Internship Details:
Dates: June 1 August 7 2026
Schedule: Full-time40 hours/week (MondayFriday)
Pay: $14/hour
Location: Headquarters Office in Memphis TN

Internship Focus:

As an Assistant Buyer Intern at ALSAC youwontjustobserve-youllcontribute toreal businessdecisions that shape what hits the shelves. This is your chance to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic buying process from trendspotting to vendor collaboration and everything in between.
Key Responsibilities:
Assistretailbuyerwith purchase order management including writing tracking and processing changes or cancellations.
Analyze sales trends and inventory levels to support buying decisions.
Participate in vendor meetings and sample reviews.
Conduct competitive shopping and market research toidentifytrends.
Prepare reports and presentations on product performance and business results.
Support cross-functional teams with administrative tasks such as sample coordination and item setup.
Preferred Majors:Supply ChainFashion Merchandising Business Marketing Retail Management ora relatedfield.
Preferred Skills:
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Proficiencyin Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other MS Office applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for retail product and consumer trends.
Previousretail or merchandising experience.
Familiarity with retail math and inventory systems.
Creative thinking combined with data-driven decision-making.
