Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies that enhance public recognition and support of the University;
- Initiate and organise fundraising events and institutional advancement projects for gift solicitations;
- Strengthen ties with donors and donor prospects via recognition ceremonies cultivation activities and annual signature events;
- Provide secretarial and administrative support to the HKBU Foundation Secretariat; and
- Prepare fundraising proposals and reports.
Requirements:
- Possess a recognised bachelors degree preferably with a higher degree with at least 6 years of relevant work experience in fundraising corporate communications public relations marketing or event management;
- Possess the ability to plan coordinate and implement a wide range of programmes and activities independently;
- Have an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;
- Possess strong communication presentation and problem-solving skills;
- Be a good team player who is highly self-motivated and detail-minded;
- Be able to work independently as well as with stakeholders at all levels to meet tight schedules; and
- Preferably have solid experience in event management.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written assessment.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review and mutual agreement.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
