WB Transformation Office Team
The WB Transformation Office reporting to the Head of Wholesale Banking was established to lead change in three areas:
Leading digital transformation to improve the digital experience for colleagues and clients and future-proof our organisation. Ensuring our product range meets customer needs and updating our portfolio efficiently. Executing an effective originate-to-distribute strategy to optimize capital allocation.
The WB TO team consisting of around 200 colleagues integrates roles related to digitalisation change regulation customer data and capital deployment structured into the following departments: Capital Distribution Risk Models Transformation Management Customer Data Management and Digital Delivery Management.

As part of WB TO the Digital Delivery Management team is pivotal in realising our digital delivery goals and enhancing customer and employee experiences. The team drives the WB Digital ambition to enable seamless delivery of products solutions and services that matter most to our colleagues and customers. The Digital Delivery Management team is responsible for:
Setting and communicating the WB digital ambition managing the Value Stream Digital delivering digital (product-agnostic) capabilities to enable digitalisation across products driving digital innovation within the WB organisation promoting and facilitating digital adoption across the WB organisation

Centre of Expertise Digital Transformation Team
The Digital Delivery Team/ Tribe Digital consist of 3 Product Areas each consisting of multiple squads that build and maintain generic digital capabilities together with engineers from WB tech. Next to that the Tribe has 4 so-called Centres of Expertise (COE) built around experts who are driving digitalisation across the Wholesale Bank.
Within the Digital team COE Digital Transformation is responsible for creating maintaining and driving the digitalisation roadmap that guides our journey towards digital transformation ensuring effective resource allocation and consistent progress. With a holistic view of our digital change portfolio we manage interdependencies between projects and balance demand and supply across different delivery teams (X-Tribe) optimising resources and ensuring smooth progress. Additionally tracks and measures the value generated by digital initiatives aligning them with our ambitious 2026 targets to contribute meaningfully to our overall digital transformation journey and business objectives.

In your role as a change expert for ING you execute the high-priority Wholesale Banking Digital Ambition. You:

  • Orchestrate and drive complex cross-border change initiatives with energy structure and clarity across tribes functions business lines and countries.
  • Identify engage and align key stakeholders across the organisation to bring the right people together and drive program success.
  • Ensuring the most efficient way of working by using executive communication and stakeholder management.
  • Deliver on commitments (strategic milestones) according to plan: on time on quality and on budget
  • Work in a dynamic international environment where your contributions have a tangible impact on the business.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic global community of change experts to share best practices and enhance your capabilities and skills.

This all ensures that complex change initiatives in Wholesale Banking are executed smoothly in a structured manner.

An all-round change professional with a track record in leading complex programs and change initiatives

  • At least 5-8 years of experience in (agile) program management in an international context preferably in the financial industry
  • Masters degree and relevant certifications (e.g. MSP Agile PgM)
  • Ability to deliver the strategic objectives and regulatory commitments
  • Strong change management skills: planning & alignment stakeholder management up to board level effective communication and presentation skills
  • High resilience and the ability to deal with significant ambiguity in a complex and changing environment
  • Proactive attitude positive and entrepreneurial mindset and organisational sensitivity
  • Excellent level of English (writing and speaking)
  • Understanding of digital journeys is a plus
