Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Assistant Video Editor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for video editing and a strong eye for detail. As an Assistant Video Editor you will work closely with our Video Editor to create high-quality videos that showcase our services and products.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in editing raw footage and assembling the final video product

- Collaborate with the Video Editor to create engaging and visually appealing videos

- Add music sound effects and other elements to enhance the overall quality of the video

- Review and provide feedback on video drafts to ensure they meet company standards

- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve video quality

- Maintain organized file management and adhere to project timelines

- Work closely with the marketing team to understand project goals and ensure videos align with company branding and messaging

- Assist with other video production tasks as needed such as setting up equipment and recording footage

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in film video production or a related field

- 1-2 years of experience in video editing

- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro

- Strong understanding of video production techniques and processes

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Excellent communication and time management skills

- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines

- Passion for creating high-quality and visually appealing videos

- Experience with motion graphics and animation is a plus
