Job Description:
- Provide day-to-day health support to students including basic assessments medication administration and monitoring.
- Assist in managing student care plans and ensure proper documentation.
- Support classroom engagement and assist teachers with academic and behavioral activities when not performing nursing duties.
- Collaborate closely with teachers school nurses counselors and administrators to support students educational and emotional progress.
- Foster positive relationships with students and provide a compassionate consistent presence in the classroom.
- Help students gradually integrate into general education settings and participate in field trips and other school activities.
- Build communication and care coordination skills by working closely with families and multidisciplinary school teams.
