The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis Tennessee is seeking a highly qualified and motivated non-tenure Assistant Professor Clinical Psychologist with a Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) to join our faculty. The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical psychology with expertise in psychotherapy training direct patient care and experience in partial hospital and intensive outpatient treatment settings.
The Clinical Psychologist will be responsible for a range of duties including but not limited to supervision and training for psychiatry residents and other trainees and direct patient care and program development and administration.
EDUCATION: Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
LICENSES: Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Clinical Psychologist in the state of Tennessee.
DEPARTMENT PREFERENCES:
Demonstrated experience in providing psychotherapy supervising trainees and working in outpatient partial hospital or intensive outpatient settings. Strong clinical skills excellent communication abilities and a commitment to teaching and mentorship.
