Job Description: Technical Writer
Job Responsibilities:
- Research write edit and proofread technical documentation including user manuals guides and online help systems.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather technical information and translate it into clear and concise documentation.
- Ensure all technical documentation is accurate consistent and adheres to company standards and guidelines.
- Update and maintain existing documentation to reflect changes and updates in products or processes.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that documentation meets the needs of end-users.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in English Technical Writing Computer Science or related field.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into user-friendly documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Adobe Acrobat and other relevant tools for technical writing.
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in technical writing preferably in the real estate or technology industry.
- Experience working with document management systems and version control software.
- Knowledge of HTML XML or other markup languages.
- Experience creating and maintaining API documentation is a plus.
Salary & Benefits:
The salary for this position ranges from $24000 to $65000 per year depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits package includes health insurance retirement savings plan paid time off and professional development opportunities.
