You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of facilities through proactive maintenance repair of equipment and upkeep of grounds. Your work will help promote a safe efficient and well-maintained environment where staff and visitors can operate effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance on equipment including troubleshooting and repairs.
Maintain all equipment tools and plant in a safe and operational condition liaising with external suppliers and service providers as needed.
Maintain the grounds to a high standard ensuring they are clean safe and well-kept.
Conduct and document scheduled health and safety checks.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests delivering excellent service to all staff and visitors.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities inspections repairs and replacements.
Support improvements and upgrades to facilities and equipment as directed.
Be proactive in professional development including mandatory training to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Requirements
Essential:
Proven experience in a maintenance or facilities role.
Ability to carry out DIY tasks and general repairs.
Strong communication and customer service skills in English.
Proactive reliable and committed to high standards of safety and efficiency.
Desirable:
Previous experience maintaining large grounds or multiple facilities.
Experience liaising with contractors or suppliers.
Relevant maintenance H&S or trade qualifications.
