- Manage the lifecycle of clinical diagnostic products from launch to phase-out ensuring profitability and market relevance.
- Conduct regular product performance reviews competitor analysis and market intelligence to guide decision-making.
- Collaborate with OEM partners and internal stakeholders on pricing product updates and distribution strategies.
- Provide technical and applications support to customers and field teams for diagnostic instruments and reagents.
- Oversee product demonstrations validation and installations at customer sites.
- Lead user training and onboarding sessions for healthcare professionals and laboratory personnel.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for clinical diagnostic products supporting sales and marketing with technical input.
- Partner with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop and deliver effective product presentations marketing materials and promotional strategies.
- Support tender preparations proposals and product selection to ensure competitiveness.
- Participate in customer meetings exhibitions and industry conferences to strengthen product visibility and market share.
- Develop tools and content to enhance the commercial and technical knowledge of the sales force.
- Conduct product demonstrations training sessions and clinical workshops.
- Work closely with the Regulatory and Quality teams to ensure product registration documentation and compliance with ISO NAFDAC and other standards.
- Maintain updated technical files user manuals and validation protocols for clinical products.
- Collaborate with engineering logistics and operations teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and product availability.
- Liaise with global OEM partners for training product updates and troubleshooting support.
- Provide feedback from the field to improve product performance and inform portfolio development.
- HND or Bachelors degree in Medical Laboratory Science Biomedical Science Biochemistry or related Life Sciences discipline.
- A minimum of a Second Class Upper (2:1) or Upper Credit is required.
- Advanced degree (. or MBA) in a relevant field is an added advantage.
- Certification in Clinical Diagnostics Product Management or Sales/Marketing is desirable.
- Minimum of 710 years experience in clinical diagnostics with at least 3 years in a product or applications management role.
- Proven experience managing laboratory diagnostic instruments reagents and point-of-care systems.
- Hands-on knowledge of clinical chemistry immunoassay hematology molecular diagnostics and laboratory automation.
- Experience working with OEMs distributors and healthcare institutions.
- Strong record of providing technical training demonstrations and after-sales support..
