Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership & Oversight
- Lead and coordinate all functions within the Business Support & Development Department.
- Align department objectives with the organizations strategic plan and growth priorities.
- Develop and enforce operational standards procedures and accountability systems.
2. Finance Oversight
- Supervise financial planning reporting and compliance across all entities.
- Review budgets forecasts and financial performance reports.
- Provide the ED and board with insights for financial and sustainability decisions.
3. Facilities Oversight
- Ensure the care safety and functionality of all buildings equipment and physical infrastructure.
- Review facility maintenance schedules and approve capital improvements.
4. Technology Oversight
- Guide technology strategy and ensure digital systems support organizational efficiency.
- Approve ICT budgets and oversee cybersecurity software selection and data systems.
5. Development & Partnerships
- Design and implement funding strategies (grants partnerships tuition earned income).
- Oversee donor reporting and ensure transparent stewardship of funds.
- Build relationships with external partners and collaborators.
6. Team Leadership
- Mentor coach and evaluate department managers.
- Foster collaboration problem-solving and continuous improvement across functions.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or related field (Masters preferred).
- Professional certification (ICAN or equivalent).
- 710 years of senior-level experience in finance operations or systems management.
- Proven success in managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with school NGO or social enterprise environments preferred.
