What Youll Do

Strategic Leadership & Multi-Site Operations

• Provide strategic and hands-on leadership to Plant Managers Operators and Fillers across all gas plant locations
  
• Implement and manage business activities projects and initiatives aimed at growing company revenue and operational efficiency
  
• Monitor plant performance equipment functionality and product quality to ensure operational excellence on a site-by-site basis
  
• Track and analyse operational data to identify trends inefficiencies and opportunities for process improvement across all facilities
  
• Conduct periodic site visits audits and performance reviews for all locations under management
  
• Execute operations sales and marketing strategy to drive growth and profitability over the long-term
  

Operations Excellence & Process Management

• Develop review and implement SOPs for gas plant operations including LPG/CNG/LNG filling storage transloading and dispatch
  
• Coordinate maintenance schedules and equipment servicing across all plants to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
  
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols industry regulations (including NMDPRA SON Fire Service) and environmental standards
  
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and Logistics teams to ensure timely gas distribution and stock availability across all plants
  
• Manage complex operational processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives company-wide
  
• Meet or exceed plant operational targets while maintaining quality and safety standards
  

Team Development & Performance Management

• Lead recruitment training and performance management of operational staff across multiple locations
  
• Develop prospects and opportunities leading to volume growth and revenue expansion
  
• Foster strong team working ethos and collaborative culture across all plant locations
  
• Coordinate and lead several teams of contractors and in-house staff effectively
  
• Build demonstrable strong relationships with key contractors and suppliers
  

Safety Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Enforce compliance with HSE (Health Safety & Environment) standards at all operational sites
  
• Maintain adherence to safety standards and clean bill of health on lead safety indicators including incidents and lost time incidents (LTIs)
  
• Ensure all operations meet industry best practices and regulatory requirements in Nigeria
  
• Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions to maintain zero-incident culture
  

Reporting & Stakeholder Management

• Prepare and present comprehensive operational reports and performance updates to senior management
  
• Provide adequate useful and timely information and reports for strategic decision-making
  
• Demonstrate effectiveness in problem identification analysis and solutions development efforts
  
• Maintain high customer satisfaction levels through operational excellence and service quality

Who You Are

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Chemical Engineering Industrial Engineering or related field (Masters degree or MBA is an advantage)
  
• 7-10 years of relevant experience in gas operations with at least 3 years in supervisory or managerial capacity overseeing multiple locations
  
• Strong knowledge of gas plant operations (LPG CNG LNG) industry best practices and regulatory requirements in Nigeria
  
• Willingness to travel regularly to plant sites across different locations

• Comprehensive understanding of LPG LNG and CNG gas systems and operations
  
• Knowledge and understanding of gas-fired power plants
