Position Overview:
The Deputy Experience Lead will support the Experience Lead in delivering exceptional experiences for students faculty and stakeholders. This role involves overseeing operational efficiency across the spectrum of the schools activities and providing support to the senior leadership team in achieving programmatic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Management:
o Assist in overseeing day-to-day administrative operations.
o Support logistics for all in-person and virtual classes events and programs.
o Help develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for efficient program delivery.
o Collaborate on strategic plans budgets and work plans with relevant units and teams.
o Aid the Experience Lead and Senior leadership team in operational planning and execution of strategic priorities.
2. Experience Design and Delivery:
o Support the design and implementation of strategies to enhance the student experience.
o Act as a secondary liaison between students faculty and administrative teams.
o Assist in coordinating orientation programmes graduation ceremonies and other key touchpoints in the student lifecycle.
o Support the Experience Lead and Senior leadership to design and execute impactful programmes and events.
3. Stakeholder Engagement:
o Foster strong relationships with students faculty alumni and external partners.
o Support initiatives that enhance the work environment for team members.
o Develop feedback mechanisms to continually improve stakeholder experiences.
o Assist in preparing reports proposals and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
4. Data Reporting and Grant Management:
o Track and analyze operational and program performance metrics.
o Assist in managing budgets and resources effectively.
o Support grant application processes by gathering necessary information and preparing documentation.
o Prepare and submit high-quality reports to donors and other stakeholders.
o Present monthly reports at statutory meetings.
5. Programme Planning and Execution:
o Collaborate with the Experience Lead and Senior leadership team to design plan and execute programmes.
o Monitor programme progress identify challenges and implement solutions.
o Ensure alignment of all programmes with the institutions mission and goals.
6. Team Support:
o Support the Experience Lead in supervising team members.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive delivery of programmes and initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a relevant field; a Masters degree is advantageous.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations programme management or student engagement preferably within the education or non-profit sector.
Proven ability to manage complex projects meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to design and deliver impactful student or stakeholder experiences.
Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for program delivery and operations.
