Job Summary

Responsibilities:

Operate passenger and freight locomotives in accordance with scheduled timetables and operational procedures.
Monitor train speed signaling systems and onboard safety mechanisms to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Perform comprehensive pre-departure and post-arrival inspections of locomotives to verify mechanical and operational readiness.
Maintain clear and accurate communication with control centers station personnel and maintenance teams.
Strictly adhere to all safety protocols operational standards and environmental regulations.
Report technical issues system anomalies or incidents immediately to the appropriate authorities.

Requirements

Anabin H recognized degree or completed vocational training in railway operations or a closely related field.
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a locomotive or railway driver.
German language proficiency at B1 level (mandatory).
Valid EU Train Drivers License (preferred) or demonstrated willingness to obtain certification.
Flexibility to work rotating shifts and operate across various routes within NRW.
