Position Summary

As a Senior Business Development Manager you will be responsible for identifying and securing new commercial and industrial accounts within a defined territory. Youll promote ABMs Onsite Facility Servicesincluding Cleaning Environmental Parking and Engineeringby crafting tailored solutions that address client needs and drive value.

This role requires a strategic thinker and relationship builder who can collaborate with operations teams lead the sales process and maintain strong client partnerships while cross-selling ABMs full suite of services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute short- and long-term sales strategies to grow territory revenue.
  • Prospect new business through cold calling networking and lead generation.
  • Create and present customized proposals using ABM-branded materials.
  • Conduct facility walk-throughs and assess current service programs.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure strategic and financial alignment.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage client transitions to operations.
  • Build a strong network of industry contacts community partners and prospective clients.
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and manage assigned budget.
  • Support marketing campaigns and monitor competitive landscape.
  • Provide training and share competitive intelligence as needed.
Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • 5 years of service sales experience with a focus on cold calling and lead generation.
  • Experience in facility services janitorial commercial real estate or related fields preferred.
  • Proven ability to write and present compelling proposals.
  • Experience pricing labor within proposals is a plus.

  • Highly organized and efficient with the ability to manage multiple prospects.
  • Collaborative team player with strong internal partnership skills.
