Job Title: IT Project Manager
Job Summary
The IT Project Manager is responsible for leading and delivering technology projects within a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment. This role manages projects from initiation through completion ensuring alignment with business objectives regulatory requirements and organizational standards. Acting as the primary liaison between technical teams business stakeholders vendors and compliance partners the IT Project Manager ensures projects are delivered on time within scope and in accordance with quality security and regulatory expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end execution of IT projects including planning execution monitoring and close-out.
Define project scope objectives deliverables timelines and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans schedules budgets and resource allocations.
Coordinate cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
Ensure projects comply with pharmaceutical industry regulations internal controls data privacy and security standards.
Identify assess and mitigate project risks issues and dependencies; escalate appropriately when needed.
Track project progress manage scope changes and provide clear timely status reports to stakeholders and leadership.
Facilitate effective communication between technical teams business partners quality and compliance functions.
Ensure project documentation meets regulatory audit and validation requirements including change records and approvals.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance project delivery processes.
Conduct post-project reviews and document lessons learned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Information Technology Business or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
Proven experience managing IT projects in software infrastructure or enterprise technology environments.
Experience working in a regulated environment with strong attention to compliance documentation and controls.
Strong leadership organizational and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced client-facing environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting pharmaceutical life sciences healthcare or similarly regulated industries.
Familiarity with regulated IT frameworks and controls (e.g. GxP SOX 21 CFR Part 11).
Project management certification (PMP CAPM or equivalent) preferred but not required.
Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
