Pay HK$96142 HK$114905 (HMPS Pt 9 14) per month including Monthly Allowance An additional monthly Management Responsibility Allowance of HK$2000. Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance. | ||
Key Responsibilities | ||
Reporting to Chief of Service (Anaesthesia Pain and Perioperative Medicine) Queen Mary Hospital and Cluster General Manager (Nursing) Hong Kong West Cluster the incumbent is to: | ||
1. | Make planning in service rationalization and development within the cluster in accordance with the directions and annual plan of HA. | |
2. | Assist in the development and implementation of organization policies and plans provide input in the formation of policies of the department / units. | |
3. | Develop clinical department plans and budgets. | |
4. | Manage operational activities of the clinical department / units. | |
5. | Be responsible for resources and financial management of the clinical department / units. | |
6. | Implement and evaluate the recruitment deployment and retention strategies for staff. | |
7. | Maintain quality assurance in the delivery of patient care of the clinical department / units. | |
8. | Lead the development implementation and evaluation of nursing policies and standards within the department / units. | |
9. | Facilitate and participate in the development of nursing profession. | |
Entry Requirements | ||
1. | Holder of a valid Registered Nurse practicing certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong. | |
2. | Qualification in advanced nursing specialty *. | |
3. | 10 years or more post-registration experience of which at least 5 years is in a management role. | |
* | Qualification in advanced nursing specialty refers to recognized post-registration certificate or post-graduate certificate/diploma course in nursing specialty or Master in nursing# or related discipline with considerable coverage on a relevant nursing specialty. # Only post-registration Master in nursing programmes are accepted | |
Preferable Attributes/Exposure | ||
1. | Demonstrated ability in advanced managerial skills with track record of excellence in health care management and contributions to professional development including research/evidence-based practice teaching and training. | |
2. | A Master degree in Nursing or related discipline. | |
3. | Qualification in management *. | |
