- Work closely with electrical engineers to ensure enclosures and housing designs align with PCB layouts and electronic component placement.
- Optimize designs for manufacturability weight reduction and cost-efficiency while ensuring compliance with aerospace regulations
- Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues during production phases.
ProblemSolving: Skilled in analyzing complex technical issues and developing effective solutions.
Technical Documentation: Ability to create and maintain detailed engineering documents and reports.
Project Management: Experienced in managing technical assignments and ensuring projects are completed on time.

Other Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent;
- Greater than 3 years experience as CAD designer
- Must be eligible to meet requirements of Controlled Goods Program;
- Ability to update/produce designs that fulfill compliance requirements.
- Make improvements to production performance and techniques.
- Manage and control BOMs accurately.
- Up-to-date knowledge on CAD tools and deployment.
- Auto CAD Solidworks
- Experience detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for PCB enclosures and housing assemblies using industry-standard tool is nice to have skill
- Familiarity with aerospace materials (e.g. aluminum alloys composites) and manufacturing processes (e.g. CNC machining injection molding).
