Your role
Design electrical systems for projects using CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD) or 3D modeling tools (e.g. CATIA) according to priorities set by the discipline lead.
Prepare material lists cable lists and cable tray layouts.
Ensure coordination with other disciplines.
Conduct research with manufacturers as needed.
Support project teams during document issuance.
Ensure proper document management within the directories you use.
Abou you
Minimum of 10 years of experience producing electrical drawings and material lists.
Ability to link electrical schematics with physical layout drawings.
Ability to interpret and produce plan views sections and detailed drawings.
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
Familiarity with 3D modeling software (e.g. CATIA or REVIT).
Basic knowledge of Excel and Word.
Ability to manage CAD documents.
Strong command of French both spoken and written.
Considered assets:
Knowledge of Logesdes (Hydro-Québec environment).
Familiarity with lighting software (e.g. AGI32).
Knowledge of electrical code.
Experience in the hydroelectric sector.
Functional knowledge of English.
Proficiency in CATIA 3D modeling software will be highly valued.
