Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate Year 4 Teacher for an esteemed independent school in Peterborough starting January 2026. This is a unique opportunity for a Year 4 Teacher who thrives in a creative and collaborative environment and is dedicated to inspiring young learners.
The successful Year 4 Teacher will join a well-resourced department delivering an engaging curriculum that challenges pupils academically while nurturing their social and emotional development. Key Responsibilities:
- Teach the Year 4 curriculum to a high standard differentiating to meet the needs of all pupils
- Maintain excellent classroom management and promote positive behaviour
- Track pupil progress provide feedback and communicate effectively with parents
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives including enrichment and extra-curricular activities
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity and consistency in learning
Requirements:
- QTS-qualified Year 4 Teacher with relevant experience
- Strong organisational communication and interpersonal skills
