Background:- A large group in the Services industry is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive sales
Minimum Requirements:- Matric (Grade 12)
- Tertiary qualification in Business Marketing or HR Management advantageous
- Excellent understanding of TES compliance labour legislation and BCEA
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to structure profitable deals
- CRM software proficiency (e.g. Salesforce HubSpot or similar)
- Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle
- Flexibility to travel
Responsibilities:- Identify pursue and secure new business opportunities across key sectors (industrial manufacturing logistics mining construction and corporate)
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue and profit targets
- Prepare proposals quotations and tender documents aligned with company pricing and compliance frameworks
- Represent the company at industry events trade shows and networking sessions to increase visibility
- Manage and grow strategic accounts to ensure long-term partnerships
- Conduct regular Client review meetings to ensure satisfaction and contract compliance
- Negotiate contract renewals and extensions to maximise revenue retention
- Work closely with Operations and Recruitment teams to deliver exceptional service and resolve Client issues
- Lead coach and motivate a high-performing Sales or Business Development team
- Set clear objectives monitor KPIs and drive accountability across the sales function
- Promote a results-driven Client-centric culture
- Analyse market trends competitor activity and pricing strategies
- Provide detailed weekly and monthly reports on sales performance forecasts and pipeline status
- Recommend data-driven strategies to improve competitiveness and profitability
