Central Carolina Medical Group has 13 physician practices comprising of primary care cardiology general surgery urology orthopedics and sports medicine and pulmonology. We employ more than 30 providers and we are growing to better serve the needs of the residents of Lee County and beyond. Our providers staff and leadership team work hard to provide efficient safe and quality care for everyone.

How youll Contribute

A Medical Technologist who excels in this role:

  • Follows standardized procedures and helps prepare samples for testing.
  • Collects samples and analyze bodily fluids and substances for abnormalities.
  • Collects blood and study blood samples used in transfusions.
  • Operates laboratory equipment in a high-quality effective manner.
  • Analyzes test results for accuracy acceptability and critical limits and reports/documents results per organizational standards.
  • Performs automated tests using computerized instruments & automated equipment.
  • Runs tests and analyzes the results to be reported to the physician or registered nurse.
  • Performs Quality Assurance work to ensure accuracy of equipment

What we are looking for

Medical Technologist License through ASCP or AMT is Preferred:

  • Bachelors degree is preferred
  • 2 years associates are accepted
