Radiologic Technologist Computed Tomography (CT Tech)
Location: Grand Blanc MI 48439
Job Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Shift: 3 12-Hour Night Shifts
Schedule: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM (Midnights)
Hours per Week: 36
Weekends: Every other weekend
Coverage: Tech will not work alone; a co-worker will be present
Job Summary Under general supervision the CT Technologist specializes in performing computerized tomography procedures and may also perform general diagnostic radiology examinations. Responsible for providing high-quality imaging while ensuring patient safety.
Minimum Requirements - Minimum 1 year of CT experience
- ARRT (CT) Certification required
- BLS Certification required
- High School Diploma or GED required
Licensure & Certification - ARRT registration with advanced CT registry (or registry-eligible)
- BLS certification required
Essential Responsibilities - Explain examination procedures and prepare patients
- Review clinical data and patient history prior to imaging
- Prepare procedure rooms and replenish supplies
- Analyze anatomy set up equipment and perform CT scans
- Administer IV contrast using power injectors and monitor patients
- Assist radiologists with complex or sterile procedures when needed
- Follow radiation protection and ALARA principles
- Ensure accurate documentation in PACS and RIS systems
- Confirm image quality and study completion

Physical Demands & Work Conditions - May work in hospital or ambulatory mobile units

- Occasional lifting or moving of equipment and/or patients over 10 lbs
