Job Summary

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Oncology
Location: Atlanta GA (Travel Assignment)
Duration: 12 Weeks
Schedule: 8:30 AM 5:00 PM (Facility may consider 4x10s)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse to join an inpatient/outpatient oncology care team. This role involves providing chemotherapy administration symptom management and supportive care for oncology patients. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical oncology experience and must already be Chemotherapy Certified.

Key Responsibilities

Assess plan implement and evaluate individualized patient care in an oncology setting.
Administer chemotherapy and other oncology-related medications safely and accurately.
Monitor patient responses to treatment report adverse reactions and modify care plans as needed.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans side effects and ongoing care needs.
Collaborate with physicians pharmacists and interdisciplinary care teams.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Provide compassionate emotional support to patients and caregivers during treatment.

Requirements

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of recent Oncology RN experience required.

Certifications:

Active RN license (state or compact)
BLS (AHA)
Chemotherapy Certification required (ONS or equivalent accepted)

Holiday Coverage Requirements

Candidate must be willing to work:

Two (2) Major Holidays from the following:
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
- New Years Day

AND

One (1) Minor Holiday from the following:
- Day After Thanksgiving
- Christmas Eve
- New Years Eve
