Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients before during and after surgical procedures
- Monitor patients vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels accordingly
- Collaborate with the surgical team to develop anesthesia care plans
- Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and patient consultations
- Provide post-anesthesia care and support to patients
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department
Requirements
- Current CRNA certification and valid state licensure
- Associate degree in nursing or related field
- Strong clinical skills in anesthesia administration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care
- Prior experience in a medical practice setting is preferred
