Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Monitor patients vital signs and anesthesia levels throughout procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff to develop anesthesia plans
- Evaluate patients medical histories and assess risks
- Provide post-anesthesia care and assess patient recovery
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Educate patients about anesthesia procedures and recovery
- Stay current with advancements in anesthesiology practices
Requirements
- Associates degree in Nursing or a related field
- Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Strong clinical experience in anesthesia administration
- Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care
- Knowledge of anesthesia equipment and monitoring techniques
Schedule: Monday-Friday (7a-5p) 2 weeks per month
No call requirement
Patient Population: Adults and minimal healthy pediatrics
Cases: General surgery GI OB/GYN some uro ortho and trauma
OB and epidurals are required
Will work independently
EMR: Epic
Paid travel & expenses
