Job Summary

Our client a well-established company in the baby product industry is looking for a Purchasing Manager (Buyer) to join his team in Hong-Kong.

Reporting to the General Management you will lead the groups Purchasing strategy at the international level (Europe & Asia).

Your role is twofold: to structure the Purchasing department and secure supplier partnerships to ensure competitiveness quality and sustainability of supply chains.

You will be a key player in the groups transformation balancing economic performance product innovation and responsible purchasing.

Main Responsibilities:

Define and implement the groups direct purchasing strategy across Europe and Asia.
Structure and modernize purchasing processes suited to an international mid-sized company (ETI).
Identify qualify engage and manage a network of high-performing and reliable suppliers.
Negotiate contractual terms and monitor purchasing performance indicators (price MOQ lead times payment terms quality CSR clauses).
Anticipate and manage risks related to costs capacity and regulatory compliance.
Foster balanced and long-term partnerships with key suppliers.
Work closely with internal teams (production finance logistics quality R&D...) to optimize the value chain.
Contribute to the implementation of a responsible purchasing policy.

Requirements

Degree level: Bachelors to Masters (business purchasing logistics engineering...).
Embody the company spirit: enjoy challenges teamwork and festive evenings...
Strong command of Excel and ERP tools (SAP Oracle etc.).
Good proficiency in professional English (written and spoken).
Fluency in another language is a plus.
Strong negotiation listening rigor agility and results-oriented mindset.
Solid experience with P2P (Purchase to Pay) processes.
Comfortable with frequent travel to meet and build loyalty with our supplier base.
