Job Summary

Objective

To develop & maintain relationship with Referring doctors hospitals and other sources for generating revenue / sales.

Principal Accountabilities :

Principal Accountabilities

(A) Operational

1. Referral Sales target planning and budgeting
Provide inputs and support to Head- Sales & Marketing in the setting of short & long term revenue targets and budget for Referral channel.
Plan sales initiatives for the Referral channel.
2. Referral Channel Creation
Maintain database of all the Referral sources.
Identify and segment the territories to be covered.
Initiate contact explain the nature of business and services and also understand their need for treatment of their patients.
Customize the services offered and enter into agreements for generating regular referral revenue.
3. Control and track Referral sales activities
Generate the sales MIS.
Analyze sales and collection trends to identify the changing trends in referrals across departments & doctors
Achieve individual targets for each referral source.
4. Relationship building with key Doctors / Hospitals
Initiate build nurture and manage the relationship with key Doctors / Hospitals
Organize joint activities with the participation of the referral partners.
Starting services in association with Referral partners in identified territories.

5. Decision-Making Authorities
Functional authority
Decisions Incumbent recommends or participates in:
Decision about sales targets from each referral source
Tie ups with doctors / hospitals.
Financial authority
Refer to the financial authority Matrix

Performance Parameters

Timely and relevant input
No. of tie ups / referral partners
Timely submission of Sales MIS in requisite format
Achievement of annual referral revenue
Continuity of referrals as per plan
Traffic- both OPD and IPD

Education

Graduate in any discipline

Experience

1-3 years of relevant experience in a large hospital or in service industry
People with relevant experience of more than 5 years can be considered irrespective of the Academic Qualifications.

Functional/Technical

Knowledge of referral policies / services of competitors
Knowledge of the overall business environment and services offered
Comfortable with common medical terminology
Clear understanding of selling services along with pricing
