Qualifications:
- A Masters degree in Medicine Public Health Epidemiology Biostatistics Biomedical Sciences or a related discipline.
- Evidence of academic excellence in undergraduate / postgraduate studies.
- Strong written and spoken proficiency in Chinese and English (e.g. TOEFL/IELTS).
- Strong quantitative skills and proficiency in programming (e.g. R/SAS/STATA).
- Detail-oriented self-motivated and capable of multitasking.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and with external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
The appointee will be responsible for research projects in health and health services pharmacoepidemiology and epidemiological studies on non-communicable diseases using population-based cohorts in Hong Kong and overseas. Key tasks include:
- Conducting literature reviews.
- Cleaning and analyzing data.
- Assisting in the preparation of academic publications and reports for funded projects.
- Performing other tasks as required by the team.
