In this role you will coach employees and supervisors on various personnel topics handle employee relations issues with utmost professionalism and confidentiality develop and roll-out career ladders in partnership with subject matter experts manage initiatives/projects to improve processes and procedures recruit and hire the best employee-owners teach and train employees and supervisors on standard HR processes and complex behavioral topics and provide exceptional customer service to those you support.

As a Human Resources Partner (University Recruitment) a typical day might include the following:
Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
Develop and maintain broad knowledge of one or more areas of Human Resources.
Coach and partner with employees and leaders as it relates to HR area(s).
Maintain current knowledge of relevant federal state and local regulations; maintain legal documentation.
Interpret explain and advise others on human resources guidance policies procedures laws standards or regulations.
Manage confidential files and other privileged information.
Maintain broad understanding of data relevant to HR area(s); manages reporting requests and interprets data for others.
Work independently using initiative to propose solutions to problems.
This job might be for you if:
B.A. or B.S. degree in Human Resources or related field
Typically four years experience within Human Resources or a related field
Solid knowledge of laws and legal practices and procedures as it pertains to HR area
Excellent listening coaching customer service and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical ability and problem resolution skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion in handling sensitive information and data
Demonstrated ability to handle/prioritize tasks
Ability to work independently within a team environment
Proficient knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with an HRIS system and processes
Strong writing documentation and speaking skills
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
