Job Summary
Executive- Production & Loading Chas P Hayley Galle
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate daily production activities to meet schedules and targets.
- Ensure efficient use of manpower machinery and materials.
- Monitor production output quality and take corrective actions.
- Ensure timely availability and coordination of raw and packing materials.
- Oversee loading dispatch and proper handling of finished goods.
- Maintain accurate production dispatch and inventory data in SAP.
- Ensure product quality hygiene safety and compliance standards.
- Supervise and guide production and loading teams.
- Prepare reports and coordinate with management maintenance and logistics.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Candidate Profile:
Diploma in Production Manufacturing or a related discipline.
13 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferably in a coir fibre plant.
Exposure to coir fibrerelated manufacturing processes will be an added advantage.
Experience in export container loading and export documentation handling (CDN / ECDN).
Ability to work effectively in an SAP-based environment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify bottlenecks and implement improvements.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate across departments.
Proven ability to meet production targets and maintain operational efficiency.
Leadership potential with a focus on motivating teams and ensuring safety standards.
Knowledge or willingness to learn Lean TPM or Six Sigma practices.
Proactive adaptable and able to perform in a dynamic factory environment.
Willingness to work on shifts and travel between plants if required.
- Preference will be given to candidates residing in or around Galle.
