About the Role

Position: Cleaning Team Leader
Location: Melbourne Youth Justice Centre Parkville VIC
Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday evenings 8:15 PM 12:45 AM
Pay Rate: From $34.71 per hour plus penalty rates and Super
Contract: Permanent Part-Time

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support a small cleaning team
Maintain high cleaning and hygiene standards across offices workshops bathrooms staircases and communal areas
Complete dusting sweeping mopping and vacuuming duties
Conduct bio-cleaning tasks when required
Liaise professionally with onsite management

What You Will Bring

Previous cleaning experience and confidence in guiding or others
A valid Working with Children Card and Police Check
Ability to perform all cleaning tasks including kneeling lifting and standing for extended periods
Ability to pass a medical assessment and drug and alcohol screening
Reliable transport and a valid drivers licence
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and teamwork
