About the Team

Join our dynamic Communications Team within the Policy and Corporate Affairs Division where we shape AEMOs reputation and connect with our stakeholders. Through creative storytelling digital innovation and media expertise we ensure AEMOs voice is clear compelling and trusted across the energy sector.

About the role

As the Web Content Advisor you will be responsible for managing and publishing content across our corporate website as well as supporting the ongoing development and maintenance of our company intranet. This key role ensures that our digital platforms consistently reflect AEMOs brand values and strategic direction while providing a seamless and engaging user experience for both external and internal stakeholders.

This is a permanent full-time role reporting to the Senior Web Advisor.

What you will be doing

  • Publish update and maintain website content using Sitecore CMS to ensure accuracy and alignment with AEMOs brand and values.
  • Manage and update the company intranet utilising SharePoint Online to support content structure and collaboration.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver timely accurate and relevant content across digital platforms.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to content contributors upholding consistency with brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
  • Monitor the performance of the website and intranet proactively identifying issues and recommending improvements for optimal user experience.
  • Contribute to digital governance by managing metadata tagging and implementing SEO best practices.
  • Support digital initiatives including website and intranet projects migrations and platform enhancements as required.

What you will bring to the role

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Minimum three years digital communications experience ideally in the energy sector
  • Proven Sitecore CMS experience
  • Strong SharePoint Online knowledge for intranet publishing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Attention to detail and quality assurance
  • Understanding of web accessibility UX principles and analytics tools (e.g. GA4)
