Kroll Agency and Trustee Services (KATS) provides independent conflict-free third-party agency and trustee services across the loan and bond markets. We have developed our strong reputation by delivering proactive and bespoke services and currently manage over 900 transactions globally.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The candidate will report into the Global Head of Agency and Trustee Services and will ensure accurate and on-time delivery of all key task items including (but not limited to) the following:
Strategic Growth & Market Development
- Relentless focus on ensuring the integration of Madison Pacific into KATS in an efficient and timely manner whilst ensuring client delivery remains consistently strong.
- In conjunction with the KATS Management Team and the Head of Business Development - APAC you will define and execute the APAC strategy aligned with global growth objectives.
- Originate and secure new business mandates across loans bonds escrow restructuring and other agency services.
- Build and expand strategic relationships with borrowers lenders sponsors law firms financial advisors and other market participants.
- Identify and assess market trends competitor activities and evolving client needs to capture market share and strengthen Krolls positioning.
Leadership & People Management
- Lead mentor and grow a high-performing regional team across multiple jurisdictions.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive culture while ensuring delivery of commercial objectives.
- Act as a senior voice for KATS within Kroll APAC contributing to firm-wide strategy and execution.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the senior point of contact for key APAC clients ensuring excellence in service delivery from mandate inception through completion.
- Drive collaboration across KATS and Kroll Issuer Services and with the global Enterprise Sales team and relevant Kroll service lines to maximize cross-sell opportunities.
- Represent Kroll at conferences industry events and client forums to enhance brand recognition and thought leadership.
- Assist in creating brand recognition and awareness by working closely with marketing and delivery partners to market the full range of Kroll Agency and Trustee Services products and services and create effective strategies for client acquisition and retention.
Governance & Operational Excellence
- Oversee risk management regulatory compliance and operational processes across KATS APAC.
- Partner with and support the roll out of Desk Extension model to support the KATS business in APAC and to maintain consistency quality and control in all service delivery.
- Monitor and report on business performance using Salesforce and internal MI systems to track pipeline revenue and performance metrics.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrable track record of success in business development and leadership within financial services ideally in a bank corporate trustee or independent agency services provider.
- Deep understanding of the APAC loan and bond markets including restructuring escrow and complex cross-border transactions.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills to assess opportunities and develop effective growth strategies.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire multi-jurisdictional teams balancing commercial targets with operational excellence.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills with credibility to influence senior stakeholders across the financial ecosystem.
- High level of accuracy attention to detail and the ability to operate in a pressurised and fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated entrepreneurial mindset with strong time management skills.
