Job Title: General Manager – Sales & Marketing (Perfumes)

Reporting To: Sr. Vice President – Marketing
Educational Qualification:
Experience Required:
15–20 years of overall experience in Sales & Marketing.
Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in the perfume or fragrance industry.
Strong exposure to premium and luxury segments.
Key Skills & Competencies:
In-depth understanding of the perfume industry including product development packaging pricing competition and market dynamics.
Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities.
Excellent communication negotiation and analytical skills.
Creative mindset with a flair for branding packaging innovation and market differentiation.
Proven ability to work cross-functionally with product branding and supply chain teams.
Primary Objective:
To build scale and position the Perfume category as a key growth driver for the organization leading all sales and marketing initiatives end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the business sales and marketing strategy for the perfume category including product portfolio pricing packaging distribution and promotion.
Lead brand positioning and go-to-market strategies for premium and luxury segments.
Collaborate with sales channels (retail modern trade e-commerce distributors) to drive visibility and revenue growth.
Conduct competitive analysis and market intelligence to identify trends opportunities and white spaces.
Oversee consumer insights and research to align products with evolving preferences.
Partner with branding and creative agencies to design impactful marketing campaigns.
Drive product and packaging innovation tailored to different occasions and customer segments.
Liaise with perfume vendors and suppliers for sourcing formulation and development.
Conceptualize and implement sales promotion campaigns and trade marketing initiatives.
Develop strategic tie-ups and partnerships to expand market reach and strengthen brand positioning.
