To support our growth were looking for a Pastry Process Manager to join our awesome team!

The Pastry Process Manager is responsible for assisting the Pastry Chef on the overall success of the Commissary. This means adhering to the clients culture and guidelines the Health Departments regulations and Bon Appétits standards and expectations of food quality freshness and presentation. Alongside the Pastry Chef you will manage the daily operations of the commissary including selection development and performance management of employees and managing the systems and process of the commissary in an efficient way. This position also motivates and directs all employees to accomplish the objectives of the operation to the satisfaction of the customers and maintains a working relation with the Client.

The great things you will do:

• Manage workplace and food safety including allergen management

• Help conduct employees reviews coaching sessions and disciplinary actions.

• Ensure that all Hiring and Training standards are met and documented.

• Prepare schedules and ensure that the commissary is staffed properly at all times.

• Oversees that high quality food items are creatively well prepared and delivered in a cost effective manner and according to health and safety standards.

• Work with the management team to ensure that all ingredients and allergens of food items are properly recorded and meet specific account standards.

• Interacts with all lines of business and resolves complaints in a friendly and service oriented manner.

• Ensure proper maintenance of all internal ordering systems and processing incoming orders to the rest of the management team

• Maintains records of all products delivered according to company guidelines.

• Reconciliation of commissary property and cost of products

• Utilizes all web based informational systems including web menu and catering menu.

What we look for in a candidate:

• Demonstrated ability to champion and enhance a culture focused on Food and Workplace Safety.

• Ability to drive and enhance a culture of Food and Workplace Safety

• Minimum of 1 year applicable process management experience in a like volume and quality food service establishment

• Proficient in computer and technical skills working knowledge of Google Suite tools Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint

• Managing in a Union Environment is a plus

• ServSafe Certification
