Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a robust territory sales plan aligned with company goals and revenue targets.
- Lead mentor and manage a team of Sales Executives ensuring performance goals are met or exceeded.
- Drive sales growth through effective pipeline management prospecting and closing new business opportunities.
- Identify develop and manage relationships with key customers dealers distributors and healthcare institutions.
- Monitor market trends competitor activities and customer needs to inform strategic decisions.
- Ensure efficient sales forecasting reporting and pipeline visibility across the territory.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing Supply Chain and Customer Support teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Support sales team training coaching and performance reviews to build capability and accountability.
- Represent the company at industry events exhibitions and customer meetings to promote brand visibility.
- Ensure compliance with company policies pricing and ethical sales practices.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Revenue & Growth: Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales revenue targets for the territory.
- Team Leadership: Achieve team quota (combined targets of all direct reports).
- Pipeline Health: Maintain a sales pipeline at least 3x the territorys quarterly quota.
- Customer Acquisition: Increase number of new customer accounts within the territory.
- Dealer/Distributor Development: Grow sales volume and engagement from sub-dealers and partners.
- HND or Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Administration or related field (MBA or postgraduate qualification is an advantage).
- A minimum of a Second Class Upper (2:1) or Upper Credit is required.
- 5 years of proven experience in sales or business development within the diagnostics or medical equipment industry.
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent leadership negotiation and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a team develop talent and foster collaboration.
- Proficiency in CRM systems sales analytics tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
- Creative innovative and highly driven to deliver measurable business results.
