Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a robust territory sales plan aligned with company goals and revenue targets.
  • Lead mentor and manage a team of Sales Executives ensuring performance goals are met or exceeded.
  • Drive sales growth through effective pipeline management prospecting and closing new business opportunities.
  • Identify develop and manage relationships with key customers dealers distributors and healthcare institutions.
  • Monitor market trends competitor activities and customer needs to inform strategic decisions.
  • Ensure efficient sales forecasting reporting and pipeline visibility across the territory.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing Supply Chain and Customer Support teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Support sales team training coaching and performance reviews to build capability and accountability.
  • Represent the company at industry events exhibitions and customer meetings to promote brand visibility.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies pricing and ethical sales practices.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Revenue & Growth: Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales revenue targets for the territory.
  • Team Leadership: Achieve team quota (combined targets of all direct reports).
  • Pipeline Health: Maintain a sales pipeline at least 3x the territorys quarterly quota.
  • Customer Acquisition: Increase number of new customer accounts within the territory.
  • Dealer/Distributor Development: Grow sales volume and engagement from sub-dealers and partners.


  • HND or Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Administration or related field (MBA or postgraduate qualification is an advantage).
  • A minimum of a Second Class Upper (2:1) or Upper Credit is required.
  • 5 years of proven experience in sales or business development within the diagnostics or medical equipment industry.
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent leadership negotiation and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a team develop talent and foster collaboration.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems sales analytics tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
  • Creative innovative and highly driven to deliver measurable business results.
