About the Role
The Senior Project Manager IT plays a critical role in leading technology projects that enhance operational performance and deliver scalable business solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Lead successful delivery of medium to large-scale IT projects involving internal teams and external partners.
- Manage relationships with cross-functional departments vendors and contractors to ensure alignment and accountability.
- Develop and execute detailed project plans resource estimates and communication strategies based on defined business goals.
- Oversee project scope budget and timelines ensuring adherence to enterprise standards and quality expectations.
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders technology teams and external providers.
- Identify assess and mitigate project risks while proactively resolving issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop technology roadmaps manage release processes and support product lifecycle from planning to post-launch analysis.
- Deliver clear and concise project status updates and performance reports to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Inspire cross-functional teams with a clear vision fostering collaboration accountability and continuous improvement.
- Leverage best practices and process improvement methods to increase efficiency and reduce delivery risk.
- Manage risk and change control processes for assigned projects ensuring enterprise readiness and compliance.
- Support the development and presentation of business cases for IT and capital investments.
- Mentor and support junior project managers or team members fostering skill development and adherence to PM principles.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Business Administration or equivalent; Masters degree preferred.
- 5 years of project management experience preferably in IT or large-scale enterprise environments.
- Proven ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities.
- Strong familiarity with ITIL processes project governance and technology deployment methodologies.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence across departments.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project Jira and Confluence.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability todrive results through cross-functional collaboration.
- PMP PRINCE2 or similar project management certification preferred.
- Flexible availability including occasional evenings weekends or holidays as project demands require.
