You will be the firms expert providing comprehensive counsel and leading litigation across the full spectrum of high-stakes labor and employment issues:
Lead Litigation: Serve as lead counsel on complex single-plaintiff litigation including discrimination harassment retaliation and nuanced reasonable accommodation claims.
PAGA and Class Action Defense: Take the reins in managing and strategically advising on sensitive PAGA (Private Attorneys General Act) cases and supporting high-profile class action litigation as needed.
High-Stakes Advocacy: Prepare argue and respond to critical dispositive and discovery motions and take/defend depositions of key plaintiffs and corporate witnesses.
Regulatory & Compliance Counseling: Act as a trusted advisor to clients on critical federal and state regulations developing compliant policies and best practices to mitigate legal exposure.
Client Relationship Management: Maintain and build key client relationships. While a portable book of business is an advantage it is not requiredyour focus will be on delivering top-tier legal service.
Qualifications: A Proven Expert in California Employment Law
Our client is looking for an attorney with the track record and intellectual rigor to handle this level of responsibility:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active and in good standing with the relevant state bar (California Bar membership strongly preferred).
912 years of substantial dedicated experience in employment law encompassing both complex litigation and regulatory counseling.
Exceptional research writing and analytical skills demonstrated by an excellent academic record and a proven ability to manage complex cases independently.
