As our presence grows were seeking to increase our digital visibility and credibility by publishing a high-quality Wikipedia article about our company.
Were hiring an experienced Wikipedia Editor to research write and submit a neutral well-sourced article about RoverPass. This is a contract role for someone with a proven history of successfully creating company pages on Wikipedia and a strong understanding of the editorial expectations and submission process.
Were not looking for someone learning on the job. Were looking for someone who can deliver an article that meets Wikipedias standards the first time.
A veteran contributor: You have a track record of making successful edits and page creations on Wikipedia especially for companies or SaaS platforms.
Strategic and efficient: You know how to work within the system to get pages reviewed and approvedwithout wasting time.
Objective and neutral: You can write in a tone that meets Wikipedias expectations for style and sourcing.
Professional and independent: You manage your own workflow and can communicate progress clearly with minimal supervision.
Evaluate Notability: Review RoverPasss media presence and third-party sources to determine article viability.
Source and Research: Identify independent reliable references to support a comprehensive article draft.
Draft Article: Write the article using Wikipedias formatting tone and structural guidelines.
Submit for Review: Manage the Articles for Creation (AfC) or direct submission process including revisions based on editor feedback.
Maintain Standards: Ensure all content aligns with Wikipedias editorial and sourcing expectations.
Demonstrated history of publishing successful Wikipedia articles particularly company pages.
Active editing history on Wikipedia and familiarity with community norms and reviewer expectations.
Strong research and writing skills especially in presenting technical or corporate topics in a neutral encyclopedic tone.
Proficiency in Wikitext and familiarity with the Wikipedia editor interface and submission workflows.
