Job Summary
Adelphi is seeking a licensed Psychologist to provide psychological evaluations counseling and behavioral health support within a secured correctional healthcare setting in DuPage County Illinois. The Psychologist will deliver therapeutic services crisis management and treatment planning for individuals in custody.

Requirements
Licensed Psychologist in the State of Illinois
Doctoral or professional degree (Ph.D. Psy.D. or equivalent)
Experience providing individual and group counseling crisis intervention and behavioral assessments
Completion of background check and facility-mandated orientation
Responsibilities
Provide crisis management and de-escalation interventions for individuals in acute behavioral distress.
Conduct psychological assessments diagnostic evaluations and risk appraisals.
Deliver evidence-based individual and group therapy sessions to address mental and emotional needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment and discharge plans.
Coordinate patient care with psychiatrists counselors and medical/nursing teams.
Participate in interdisciplinary treatment meetings case reviews and quality improvement activities.
Support suicide prevention crisis stabilization and post-incident debriefing protocols.
Document all care accurately within the facilitys Electronic Health Record system.
Provide consultation and staff education related to behavioral health management and communication.
Any other duties as assigned.
