About the Role
We are seeking a charismatic and highly professional Corporate Employee Benefits Specialist to focus on acquiring high-value clients and driving premium sales. This role is designed for an experienced salesperson who thrives in face-to-face engagements with business owners and decision-makers at mid-sized to large organisations. Youll be at the forefront of our clients mission to provide innovative employee insurance solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute tailored sales strategies targeting companies with 502000 employees in industries such as hospitality manufacturing BPO logistics retail and other large workforces
- Proactively identify and pursue opportunities through LinkedIn events networking conventions and seminars frequented by business leaders
- Generate 75% of your leads independently with some support from the marketing team
- Build and deliver persuasive customised sales presentations that resonate with business owners and decision-makers
- Focus on acquiring high-premium clients (R10000 premiums) while ensuring long-term client retention and satisfaction
- Establish and nurture lasting client relationships to foster trust upsell opportunities and maximise referrals
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and a smooth transition from prospecting to implementation
- Adapt responsibilities as required by business needs
Requirements
Experience & Qualifications:
- Professional presence: confident articulate and polished in communication and appearance
- Energetic and engaging: high energy enthusiastic and persuasive with strong rapport-building ability
- Goal-oriented: self-motivated and results-driven with a strong sense of urgency and accountability
- Collaborative: a team player who values integrity and professionalism in every interaction
- Adaptable: able to tailor approaches to suit different industries and client needs
- Qualifications: RE5 certification and an undergraduate degree
- Minimum 1-year insurance sales experience
- Good fluency in English andAfrikaans
Sales & Tech Skills:
- Skilled in creating and delivering engaging visually appealing sales presentations
- Proficient in CRM systems MS Office Suite and LinkedIn for lead generation and networking
- Strong lead generation expertise with proven ability to build and maintain a robust pipeline
