Applicants should possess a good bachelors degree with about five years of work experience preferably in tertiary education sector. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); good interpersonal communication and organisational skills; computer literacy; as well as the ability to multitask under pressure and work independently and in a team environment. They should also be detail-oriented and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility. Experience in handling recruitment and good knowledge in data processing and analysis would be an advantage. Applicants with less experience will be considered as Clerk I.
The appointee will perform a wide spectrum of secretarial and administrative support to the Faculty Office. He/She will manage and organise the senior managements daily schedules and business appointments; liaise with internal and external parties for daily administration operation; handle all enquires and correspondence independently; provide administrative support including sorting incoming correspondence and arranging internal and external meetings and functions when required; provide clerical support in human resources management; and carry out other ad-hoc tasks as assigned. The appointee is required to maintain the strictest confidentiality at all times. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
