Applicants should hold a bachelors degree and have at least 2 years full time work experience in administration or student affairs preferably in a tertiary institution or the education sector. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (proficiency in Putonghua would be an advantage); strong interpersonal organisational communication and problem solving skills; good computer literacy; and the ability to multitask under pressure and work both independently and as part of a team with a strong sense of responsibility. Attention to detail particularly with numbers is essential. Prior experience in working with data and/or student exchange programmes is advantageous. Applicants with lower qualifications and/or less experience may be considered for the post of Clerk II.
The appointee will provide administrative and clerical support to the Facultys undergraduate enrichment programmes. He/She will be responsible for coordinating events activities training sessions and study tours; managing databases; supporting the development and operation of application system; liaising with students and internal/external project stakeholders and maintaining general administration within the Undergraduate Student Enrichment Team. The appointee is expected to work outside normal office hours travel occasionally and perform ad hoc duties as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a written test and an interview.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
