As a Brisbane-based Air Quality Consultant with GHD youll work with a dynamic team of environmental professionals to deliver high-quality assessments modelling and strategic advice across a range of sectors including transport infrastructure energy and urban development

Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

  • Conducting air quality assessments and dispersion modelling for infrastructure and industrial projects.
  • Preparing technical reports and environmental impact statements for regulatory approvals.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate air quality considerations into project design.
  • Engaging with clients and stakeholders to provide expert advice and tailored solutions.
  • Supporting business development activities through proposal writing and client engagement.

What would you bring to the team

  • A Bachelors degree or more in atmospheric science engineering maths physics environmental science or a related discipline.
  • More than 2 years relevant experience.
  • Experience using meteorological and dispersion models including TAPM CALPUFF AERMOD and/or WRF.
  • Data analysis and scripting skills using R Python or another language (or keen to learn).
  • Experience using GIS platforms such as ArcGIS or QGIS.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and project delivery.
