Iles de paix is currently looking for an experienced Program Manager to coordinate programs who will provide strategic guidance and oversee the progress of operations

The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and has proven experience in managing teams to produce results in a timely manner. HE/SHE is able to develop efficient strategies and methods to ensure that all programs deliver the desirable outcome to our organization in time. The duration of the contract will include a 6 months probation period. The duty station is Fort Portal with frequent trips to the intervention area (up to 30% of time). Main responsibilities

Organize and monitor inter-connected projects

Provide hands on capacity support for partners and their dedicated teams

Fine tune and operationalize suitable strategies and oversee the technical aspects of the current and future programs

Lead and evaluate project officers and other staff

Develop and control deadlines budgets and activities

Apply change risk and resource management

Reports to the country director and supports him in different tasks such as representation of IDP preparation of proposals formulation of MnE frameworks support visibility of our actions

Requirements

Person Specification

University-level degree; post-graduate or masters degree in relevant field (agriculture natural Resource Management ) will be an added advantage

AT least 5 year proven experience as a Program Manager or other managerial position

Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods

Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles

Affinity with Agro ecology and sustainable food systems approach

Excellent knowledge of MS Office

Outstanding leadership and organizational skills

Excellent communication skills

Excellent problem-solving ability.
