Job Highlights:
- Contract type: Independent Contractor
- Schedule: 20hrs per week; Monday to Friday 3pm to 7pm UK
Responsibilities:
- Make outbound calls to restaurants across London to introduce the platform
- Identify and connect with decision makers (general managers owners) at restaurants
- Gather contact information and optimal calling times for key decision makers when theyre unavailable
- Schedule brief appointments for product explanation and onboarding meetings
- Maintain detailed Excel tracking of all call outcomes contacts and follow-up schedules
- Conduct strategic follow-up calls to warm leads and previously contacted prospects
- Focus on quick appointment setting rather than detailed product explanations to avoid unproductive conversations
- Work within restaurant operating hours and optimal calling windows
Requirements
- At least 1 to 3 years of recent B2B appointment setting or sales experience
- Excellent communication skills with clear professional phone presence and ability to establish credibility within first 20 seconds
- Experience in appointment setting or outbound calling preferred
- Ability to quickly identify and connect with decision makers through strategic questioning
- Strong organizational skills for tracking calls and managing lead pipeline through Excel systems
- Persistence and ability to handle rejection professionally while maintaining call volume goals
- Understanding of restaurant operating hours and optimal calling times (avoiding morning hours when most restaurants are closed)
- Comfortable working with publicly available restaurant databases and Google-sourced contact information
