A growing pet health insurance territory operation covering the Pacific Northwest and California markets. The team focuses on building relationships with veterinary hospitals and insurance agents to expand access to pet insurance services. With over 1600 established accounts and a proven track record this is an opportunity to support meaningful work in the pet health industry.
Youll be the organizational backbone for a successful territory manager ensuring every hospital visit is perfectly coordinated and highly productive. This role places you at the center of relationship-building within the pet health insurance industry helping expand access to essential services across veterinary practices. Youll work with established accountsnot cold prospectsfocusing on scheduling coordination and relationship maintenance in a rewarding industry that truly impacts pets and their families.
Responsibilities
Pre-call veterinary hospitals ahead of territory manager visits to schedule appointments and confirm availability
Coordinate and manage calendar scheduling for approximately eight hospital visits per day
Conduct follow-up calls and perform administrative tasks to support territory operations and maintain account relationships
Reach out to veterinarians via LinkedIn to schedule lunch meetings and professional appointments
Maintain communication with existing hospital accounts and the insurance agent network
Support the territory manager with administrative tasks and account management activities
Manage appointment confirmations and reschedule visits as needed to optimize territory coverage
Track and organize account information to support ongoing relationship-building efforts
Requirements
Strong communication skills for professional phone interactions with veterinary staff and medical professionals
Experience in appointment setting calendar management or customer service roles
Familiarity with CRM systems and basic administrative software
Professional phone manner with a customer service mindset focused on relationship building
