Job Summary
This is an opportunity to work with high performance software with a team of engineers that understand the contribution that a strong testing group can make. The role is sure to challenge your testing skills and ingenuity as well as your ability to find the complicated edge cases that arise at the limits of performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Planning the design and execution of test cases
- Identify opportunities to improve system quality and testability
- Analyse requirements to ensure verifiability of data systems
- Create comprehensive testing documentation
- Provide support and advice to the team on quality matters
- Appraise the Test Lead on the progress and any schedule slippage
COMPETENCIES
- 5 years as a QA Analyst with experience in ETL projects
- Experience across the SDLC and well versed in test methodologies
- Experience testing APIs and ETL jobs
- Knowledge of SQL stored procedures and data validation
- Experience with AWS-based cloud deployments
- Able to liaise with key stakeholders and development teams
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Defect management using JIRA
- Experience with development environment using Git Jira and Confluence
- Finance experience and a customer-centric mindset
