Roles: Workday Associate Mgr (HRIS & HR Analytics)
Location: Chennai
Night Shift (US Time Zone): 6:30 PM 3:30 AM
Key Responsibilities
Workday HCM Management
- Oversee daily operations and maintenance of Workday HCM
- Manage configuration updates testing and deployment of new functionality or releases.
- Ensure data accuracy security compliance and process integrity across HR systems.
- Act as the primary liaison between HR IT and business teams for system enhancements and troubleshooting.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and mentor a small team of Workday analysts or specialists.
- Prioritize and allocate workload effectively ensuring timely delivery of system changes and support requests.
- Partner with HR COEs Payroll and Business HR teams to understand requirements and translate them into Workday solutions.
Continuous Improvement & Governance
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes using Workday automation and integrations.
- Maintain strong documentation for configurations workflows and data governance practices.
- Monitor Workday release updates assess impact and coordinate testing and adoption of new features.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate closely with global and regional HR leadership to support organizational goals.
- Present insights reports and recommendations to senior stakeholders for decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Information Systems or a related field (Masters preferred).
- 47 years of experience in Workday HCM including configuration reporting and integrations.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and data governance principles.
- Experience managing Workday security business processes and data loads.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced matrixed and global environment.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Workday HCM Core
- Strong hands-on experience with Workday Reports (Advanced/Matrix) and Calculated Fields.
- Strong Excel data analysis and presentation skills.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Proactive detail-oriented and collaborative mindset.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and drive outcomes through influence.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science or related understanding of integration technologies and coding in HR Workday and payroll system integrations.
