Job Summary

Are you a logistics professional looking for a new challenge Our client is looking for a Transport Supervisor to join their team.

Salary:

USD 700 net

Responsibilities :

Registering and sourcing of trucks with reputable transporters.
Developing effective Relationships with key external and internal stakeholders
Coordinating the movement of loads.
Sourcing for inbound and outbound loads.
Planning evaluating and coordinating the transport activities within the business
Overseeing third party contract carriers operations and processing of invoices for accurate payments for vendors to be effected on time
Market analysis and providing intelligence for the business
Leading a team of transport controllers

Key Skills :

Effective practical communicator and interpersonal skills with all stakeholders
Adequate knowledge of the logistics supply chain and transport market
Knowledge of transport regulations and procedures

Qualifications:

Degree in Transport and Logistics
Professional qualification CILTCIPS is an added advantage
